Through original and found footage and sound, Original Colour translates the 1960’s Wall of Sound recording technique into a cinematic model for social harmony. The viewer is toured through the stratified vibrancy of hastily cut and pasted desert canyons, the tomb of the First Emperor of the Middle Kingdom populated by the Terracotta Warrior army, football anthem You'll Never Walk Alone, and the Chinese Communist Party's 60th anniversary mass mediatized spectacles.
